Introducing the FELT POLISHING WHEELS from BACON FELT COMPANY, designed for the discerning gunsmith. These 6" soft felt polishing wheels are crafted to deliver the finest quality finish for all your polishing needs.

Product Features:

  • Finest quality 1" wide felt wheels, carefully selected and factory trued.
  • Only the closely controlled density of felt wheels will give the superb finish that marks the real professional.
  • Complete instructions on Polish-O-Ray™ tube describe felt wheel technique.
  • Best to use a different wheel for each polish grit.

Specifications:

  • 1/2 hp or under: use 6" wheels at 3600 RPM.
  • 1/2 hp or over: use 8" wheels at 1800 RPM.
  • 3/4 hp or over: can use 10" wheels at 1800 RPM (10" for experienced polishers only).

Use the soft felt for most work, and a medium or hard wheel for 555™ Polish. All wheels are 1" (2.5cm) thick and made with a 1" (2.5cm) arbor. Adapters are supplied to convert to 1/2" (12.7mm), 5/8" (15.9mm), 3/4" (6.4mm), and 7/8" (22.2mm) sizes, with one adapter included with each wheel.
