Cleaning brushes have machined aluminum components that don’t react with ammonia-based solvents like brass parts sometimes do. Won’t produce blue-green stains on your patches that can be misinterpreted as “false positive” indications of copper fouling, so you’ll know when your bore really is copper-free. Similar in hardness to brass, Copper Eliminator parts won’t scratch the bore or damage the muzzle, and they’ll stand up to hard use. Nylon bristles wound around an aluminum core and male-threaded aluminum coupling are completely brass-free to eliminate false-positive blue-green indications of copper fouling that can occur when using ammonia-based solvents with brass core brushes. Dense nylon bristles give plenty of scrubbing power, yet are extremely gentle on the rifling. .17 and .20 caliber brushes with 5-40 threads extend the benefits of the Copper Eliminator system to your existing small-caliber rod. The .22 caliber and larger brushes have 8-32 threads for use with Dewey Copper Eliminator rods.

Description:
Ensure a true copper-free bore with DEWEY's Copper Eliminator Bore Brushes.
Cleaning brushes feature machined aluminum components that do not react with ammonia-based solvents, unlike brass parts which can sometimes lead to issues. This innovative design prevents the formation of blue-green stains on your patches that may be misinterpreted as “false positive” indications of copper fouling, allowing you to accurately determine when your bore is genuinely copper-free.
Key Features:
- Durable Construction: Similar in hardness to brass, Copper Eliminator parts are designed to avoid scratching the bore or damaging the muzzle, ensuring they withstand rigorous use.
- Brass-Free Design: The nylon bristles are wound around an aluminum core and feature a male-threaded aluminum coupling, completely eliminating the risk of false-positive blue-green indications of copper fouling.
- Effective Cleaning: Dense nylon bristles provide ample scrubbing power while being gentle on the rifling.
- Compatibility: .17 and .20 caliber brushes with 5-40 threads extend the benefits of the Copper Eliminator system to your existing small-caliber rod, while .22 caliber and larger brushes have 8-32 threads for use with Dewey Copper Eliminator rods.
Specifications:
- Nylon bristles
- Aluminum core and ferrule
- Thread patterns indicated in table
- Available in 3- and 12-packs
Upgrade your cleaning routine with the Copper Eliminator Bore Brushes from DEWEY and experience the difference in maintaining a copper-free bore.
